Taught from two perspectives, this course gives the student a dual dose of both finance and business. On the financial side, it integrates concepts found in the financial literacy course in a comprehensible manner. The other side deals with how business ideas are originated, vetted, and can be developed into a full fledged business. Further, it gives the student a broad view of what businesses deal with from an operational, planning, and strategic standpoint by combining a technological view rooted in services and in marketing.
